The condensation on the wall next to my shower turns amber as it drips downwards. There is no discernible crack or seam between wall and ceiling that would allow for a foreign element to mix with the water, which means the coloration is coming from the wall/paint, or was in the water all the time and can’t be seen until it is against a white surface.

Neither possibility makes me particularly comfortable.
